Profitabilitas merupakan kemampuan suatu perusahaan untuk menghasilkan laba dalam jangka waktu tertentu. profitabilitas menggambarkan kemampuan perusahaan untuk menghasilkan laba melalui semua fungsi, bukan hanya sumber daya yang tersedia seperti uang tunai, modal, aktivitas penjualan, jumlah karyawan, jumlah cabang dan lainnya. Artikel ini mereview faktor-faktor yang yang mempengaruhi profitabilitas (y) sebagai variabel dependen, dan non performing financing (x1), financing to deposit ratio (x2), capital adequacy ratio (x3), biaya operasional pendapatan operasional (x4), dan bank size (x5) sebagai variabel independen. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk membangun hipotesis pengaruh antar variabel agar dapat dimanfaatkan dan digunakan untuk riset selanjutnya. Hasil artikel literature review yang telah penulis lakukan menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh variabel non performing financing (x1) terhadap profitabilitas variabel (y), ada pengaruh variabel financing to deposit ratio (x2) terhadap profitabilitas variabel (y), ada pengaruh variabel capital adequacy ratio (x3) terhadap profitabilitas variabel (y), ada pengaruh variabel biaya operasional pendapatan operasional (x4) terhadap profitabilitas variabel (y), dan ada pengaruh variabel bank size (x5) terhadap profitabilitas variabel (y).
