PT. X has a Refinery which is a place to process crude oil into min-yak which can be used by various engines according to the type of fuel. To maintain the production system and the quality of fuel calorific value at PT. X, it takes a boiler unit to add and maintain the calorific value of the fuel produced. A boiler is a pressure vessel used to produce steam. Boiler at PT. X uses Feed Water as a fluid that is converted to steam. To keep the boiler able to provide the appropriate calorific value, maintenance and performance evaluation on the boiler are needed. The boiler operates when the oil is experiencing a temperature drop in the fluid fraction separation process, and when cleaning the piping from the residual fluid. With the existence of a boiler unit, it can make the refinery well-maintained and efficient in the finished oil production process. Performance evaluation of boilers consists of two methods, namely direct and indirect efficiency. Efficiency with the direct boiler performance method shows a figure of 81.83% and Efficiency with the indirect boiler performance method shows a figure of 81.18%. With the efficiency results that have been implemented, it is known that the performance of the boiler is still above the feasibility limit of the equipment and can still work well and know the difference in efficiency between the two methods
