Abstract

Globalisasi berdampak pada kompetitifnya persaingan bisnis, sehingga kinerja perusahaan dituntut untuk selalu cepat. Tuntutan ini perlu ditangani salah satunya dengan penerapan Good Corporate Governance sebagai upaya mencapai kecepatan kinerja perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan good corporate governance terhadap kecepatan kinerja perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif sedangkan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan studi kepustakaan. Data yang diperoleh merupakan jenis data sekunder yang kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan Good Corporate Governance secara teoritis dapat meningkatkan kecepatan kinerja perusahaan. Menurut Corporate Governance Index Perception, tingginya  tingkat kepatuhan dan kinerja perusahaan, maka semakin efektif penerapan tata kelola perusahaan.
