Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pencegahan merokok melalui media audio visual terhadap pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku merokok pada siswa. Metode yang digunakan berupa eksperimen semu dengan rancangan one group pre-test and post-test design dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan sample 192 siswa, dan menggunakan analisis uji-t sampel berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media audio visual mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa dengan nilai (p-value = 0,036), Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian bahwa penggunaan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan perubahan  individu dalam mencegah serta mengurangi perilaku merokok di kalangan remaja
